SHGs have been formed and capacitated. The group members disseminate knowledge among the community members. Presently 4 Women SHGs are functional in the area. Nearly 800 community members are oriented and work towards a better living standard. A total 57 beneficiaries from Self Help groups have been facilitated in economic development initiatives so far.

BEAUTY PARLOR PROGRAM

LACIT organizes workshops and training programs for women and young girls by experienced trainers. The aim of this program is to make the trainees well skilled and independent.

A one day mega Beauty Parlor Camp was organized in 2008 In this camp, young girls from local slums and other areas participated and got involved in order to start their own Beauty Center and earn a good living.
